Onboarding

Onboarding Overview

Please contact us with questions. The IntELiMon project team requires training before you can upload your data to the system, so that we can ensure quality products. Great output products begin in the field with proper data collection methods.

There are two options for completing the required TLS Data Collector Training:

  1. In-Person: Training must be performed by a qualified trainer (an individual that has been trained as a trainer by a member of the TLS training team).
  2. Online: Data Collector training can be accessed on the Wildland Fire Learning Portal. You need to create an account if you don’t already have one.

After completing the required training and you either have collected data or have plans to collect soon (in the next field season), you can request access to begin using IntELiMon by using the contact us form.

After connecting with an IntELiMon Onboarding Coordinator, you will need to provide site names, data collector names, training certificates, site contacts, and scanner details.

As part of training, you will learn more about designing and formatting plot names. Your training coordinator will share more information with you as you begin onboarding.
